Effects of Back Pain.
Side effects of back pain are due to the pathological changes that take place in the anatomy of the back bone.

- Cauda Equina Syndrome: Cauda Equina is the name given to the group of nerves in the spinal canal, emanating from the spinal cord at the level L1 and S1. - Prolapsed Inter vertebral Disc. (PID)
- Pressure from a collapsed vertebra.
- Spinal Stenosis.
- Space occupying Lesion (SOL) such as a Tumor or an abscess.
What Happens in Cauda Equina Syndrome:
- There is sensory loss { Loss of sensation) and/or motor loss ( inability to move) in one or both the lower limbs.
- Urinary and Bowel incontinence. (loss of control).
- Sexual dysfunction.
