Cardamom is called the queen of spices. It is dried fruit of a plant which is grown perineally. The seeds of cardamom are commonly used in cooking because of its aroma and taste. Cardamom is grown in Southern Part of India, Sri Lanka and Guatemala. It is called elaichi in these countries of its growth. There are two types of cardamom – the green cardamom which is more expensive and has a stronger flavor and the black cardamom.
